Privacy Policy

This notice explains how we collect and use personal information when you use this website and our services.

Who we are

Will & LPA is a trading name of NNAMCAL ASSOCIATES LTD.

For data protection queries, contact:

Please see our Contact page.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash).
  • Your questionnaire answers — information about you, your family, the people you choose (such as executors, guardians, attorneys and beneficiaries), your property and your wishes. This can include information about health, for example in a health and welfare LPA.
  • Documents and messages you send us or we send you through your account.
  • Enquiries you send through our contact form.
  • Technical information — security logs record actions on your records with a one-way hash of your IP address rather than the address itself.

How we use it, and why

  • To provide the service you ask for, including reviewing your answers and preparing your documents (performance of a contract).
  • To keep your account and records secure and to prevent misuse (legitimate interests).
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).
  • To use the optional onboarding assistant, if you choose to (your consent, which you can withdraw).

Where you give us information about other people, please let them know you have done so.

The optional onboarding assistant

If you choose to use the assistant, the wording of the question you are viewing and the question you type are sent to our AI provider to create an explanation. We remove common identifiers such as email addresses, phone numbers and postcodes before sending, and we do not send your saved answers. The assistant cannot see or change your answers.

Who we share it with

  • Our website hosting and email delivery providers, who process data on our behalf.
  • Our payment provider, if you pay online. We never see or store your card details.
  • Our AI provider, only if you choose to use the assistant.
  • The Office of the Public Guardian, when an LPA is registered.

How we protect it

Questionnaire answers are encrypted when stored. Documents are encrypted and kept in private storage, available only to you and authorised members of our team. Staff access is limited to what each role needs, and access to records is logged.

How long we keep it

Unfinished questionnaires are deleted automatically after a set period of inactivity. We keep records of completed services for as long as we need them to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. [Insert your retention periods.]

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
